Classrooms and Studios
The Ryan Learning Center classrooms and studios are home to interactive sessions that combine in-gallery looking and discussion with studio-based explorations of artists’ materials and techniques. Check the calendar to find out about upcoming classes and workshops for adults, families, and teens. Programs specifically for K–12 educators are also offered throughout the year, providing content and strategies for using art as a catalyst for learning for all grade levels and disciplines.
Crown Educator Resource Center
Take advantage of this reference library and workspace for educators of all grade levels and disciplines who want to make art central to their students’ learning experiences. Groups of educators may schedule free half-hour orientations in the Crown Educator Resource Center. Classes of pre-service teachers and education students are welcome. Drop by during open hours to speak with a museum educator and pick out a free poster for your classroom.
